The DJX750 is a five-channel mixer built around a 24-bit digital effects processor. Channels 1 to 4 offer a mix of dual-stereo Phono/Line, Phono/CD and Line/CD sources, each with its own gain control and 3-band EQ. Channels 1 to 4 add full kill on the EQ and 10-LED metering. The built-in phono preamps can serve up to three turntables.
The effects section has 33 effects, including phase shifters, flangers, reverbs and delays, plus Auto Filter and Voice Changer. Parameters can be changed live rather than being locked to presets, including Bit Crusher depth, manual filter sweeps, panning (LFO rate) and delay or echo time. Delay and echo times can be set relative to the internal BPM counter. Two BPM counters with Sync Lock and Beat Assist help match tracks. The XPQ 3D stereo surround effect widens the stereo image.
A dedicated microphone channel has a Mic On button, a Talk level control and a Talkover function that detects the voice and lowers the music level automatically. The mic channel has its own 3-band EQ with up to 15 dB of boost or cut at 80 Hz, 2.5 kHz and 12 kHz. Faders are Ultraglide types and the crossfader is VCA-controlled.
