MIG-50
A 50-watt, two-channel all-valve guitar amplifier head reissued from the 1990s Sovtek MIG-50 and assembled by hand in New York. It suits players after a tweed-style tone with a normal channel and a bright channel.

The MIG-50 is a 50 W head with two channels, each with its own input jack and volume control. Channel 1 is the normal channel and channel 2 is the bright channel. A shared tone section offers treble, middle, bass and presence controls, and the amp has separate standby and power switches plus a lamp that lights when power is on.
The power stage uses two Sovtek 5881WXT tubes, and the preamp uses three 12AX7 tubes. External bias adjustment controls are provided for the power tubes. The original amp was known for rich tone and harmonics comparable to a tweed Fender Bassman. This reissue adds modern enhancements chosen for reliability and is assembled by hand in the maker's New York factory.
The speaker output selects between 4, 8 or 16 ohm loads. The amp operates from 100 V, 117 V or 230 V mains at 50/60 Hz. Two user manuals are offered, one for the MKII (2022) and one for earlier MKI units made before 2022.
