Slap-Back Echo
A compact analog delay pedal that reissues a late-1970s Electro-Harmonix design. It gives a single short bucket-brigade echo in three delay times and is aimed at guitarists wanting slapback doubling or a clean level boost in a small pedalboard footprint.

The Slap-Back Echo is an all-analog delay built around bucket-brigade (BBD) circuitry, reissued from a late-1970s original in EHX's Pico-sized chassis. It produces one short repeat in the style of 1950s slapback, covering subtle doubling through to tight, room-like reflections.
Three controls shape the sound. Gain sets the level going into the echo circuit and also acts as an output boost of up to 20dB; because it sits before the mix, both dry and echo signals are boosted, even with Blend fully dry. Blend crossfades from 100% dry to 100% echo. A three-position Time switch selects 45ms, 65ms or 100ms delay.
The pedal is mono with true bypass, and a status LED lights when the effect is engaged. It has a single input jack and an amp output jack, which in bypass is wired straight to the input. Power comes from the included 9.6VDC-200mA adapter, or any 9V supply with a center-negative plug.
