FA501iC
The FA501iC is a 6-inch two-way in-ceiling/in-wall loudspeaker from Fyne Audio's FA500iC series. It suits custom-install and home-theatre setups that need a shallow, paintable speaker with an IsoFlare point-source driver.

The FA501iC is a two-way flush-mount loudspeaker for ceilings and walls. It uses a 150mm (6") IsoFlare point-source driver, with a 25mm titanium dome compression tweeter at the centre of a multi-fibre bass/midrange cone and a FyneFlute surround. The crossover is tuned for an infinite-baffle, flush-mount position.
The cabinet is shallow, needing 99mm behind the mounting surface, and fixes in place with clamps that accept surfaces 5 - 50mm thick. A round grille and a square low-profile grille are both supplied, and both can be painted so the speaker blends into the room. A cut-out template and a manual are available as downloads.
The speaker is passive and connects to a separate amplifier. It has an 8 Ohm nominal impedance and 89dB sensitivity, and the recommended amplifier power is 30 - 125 W RMS. The crossover is a passive design with a 1.7kHz crossover frequency.
