InSpire 8G2
The InSpire 8G2 is a USB MIDI keyboard controller with a semi-weighted piano-style keyboard, 8+1 faders, 8 encoders, 12 trigger pads and an X/Y touchpad. It suits DAW-based producers who want Mackie Control/HUI transport and mixer control alongside keyboard playing.

The InSpire 8G2 combines a semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keyboard with a full DAW control surface. It has 8+1 assignable faders, 8 dual-function encoders (push and rotate), 12 velocity-sensitive trigger pads, an X/Y touchpad, a pitch/modulation joystick, a jog wheel and 62 assignable buttons. A large backlit LCD shows channel names and control values.
Mackie Control is built in for Cubase, Nuendo, Samplitude, Logic Pro and Ableton Live, and Mackie HUI is built in for Pro Tools. A MIDI Learn mode covers other DAWs such as Sonar. Template labels for the main DAWs are included, along with the Harrison 32c Vocal Intensity Processor plugin. Several velocity curves can be chosen for the keys and pads, and Hold, Pad Roll and Key Roll buttons work with the touchpad.
The unit connects over USB 2.0 high speed and is class-compliant. A VirtualPort matrix provides 4 independent USB outputs for running several programs at once. It also has a 1x1 16-channel MIDI I/O, expression and sustain pedal inputs, and two expansion slots for ICON Synth and Satellite USB audio interface cards. Firmware is updated over USB with the iMap software.
