Eight-channel fader extender for the Platform M+ DAW control system, with touch-sensitive motorized faders, encoders and channel buttons. Up to three units can be added to a Platform M+ for 32 channels, for DAW users who want more physical faders.

Platform X+ adds eight channels to a Platform M+ controller. Each unit has eight touch-sensitive motorized faders with 10-bit resolution, eight dual-function encoders (rotate and push) and illuminated Select, Mute, Solo and Record buttons for every channel. A Platform M+ plus three X+ units gives 32 channels of control.
The iCON universal DAW mode covers Cubase, Nuendo, Samplitude, Logic Pro, Studio One, Bitwig, Reason, Sonar, Digital Performer, Reaper, Adobe Audition, Ableton Live and Pro Tools. The number of extenders that can be used depends on the DAW: for example Cubase/Nuendo, Studio One, Digital Performer, Logic Pro X and Mixbus allow seven, while Reason, Cakewalk/Sonar and Samplitude allow one. FL Studio does not support extenders. The optional Platform D2 display can show track names and parameters.
The unit connects over USB 2.0 high speed, is class-compliant and is powered by an included 12V/2.5A adapter. The metal casing has a Kensington lock port. iMap software is included for mapping MIDI functions and for firmware updates over USB. Bitwig 8-Track and several plugin bundles are included.
