XDJ 2
The XDJ is a two-deck USB DJ controller with touch-sensitive scratch wheels, a built-in mixer section and backlit buttons. It suits DJs who want a bus-powered, aluminium-bodied controller that works with Deckadance, Traktor and VirtualDJ on a computer.

The XDJ combines two jog wheels with a full mixer layout in one controller. The platters have touch sensors and a high-resolution pulse sensor, intended to give an analog feel when scratching and mixing. Each channel has a vertical volume fader, a vertical tempo fader and gain control, and a horizontal crossfader sits between them. The EQ section offers five bands per side: Hi, Mid, Low, FX3 and Filter.
Browsing and looping are handled by a song selection encoder and large encoders for the loop Move and Size functions. Cue volume and cue mix knobs are provided for headphone monitoring. All buttons are backlit, and the faders, knobs and buttons can be reassigned in some DJ software, with the exception of the Mode and Shift buttons. The body is rugged aluminium.
The controller connects to a computer over USB and takes its power from the bus. It comes with Deckadance 2 LE ICON edition, and PVC overlays and templates for Traktor and Deckadance are included. Firmware and iMAP updates are installed with a Smart Install utility for macOS or Windows. The unit relies on legacy 32-bit software, so it may not work with many modern 64-bit computers.
