The R-100SW is a compact powered subwoofer built around a 10-inch front-firing woofer with a spun-copper IMG cone. It is driven by an all-digital amplifier that delivers 300 watts of peak power.
A volume control, a low-pass crossover control and a phase control let the user match the subwoofer's output to the main speakers and the room. The cabinet is finished in black textured wood-grain vinyl and measures 14.5 x 12.5 x 16.4 inches.
For connection, it has line-level/LFE RCA inputs, intended to work with a wide range of receivers. A spec sheet and a product manual are available as downloads from the maker. The model has since been followed by the newer R-101SW.
