PA700

The Pa700 is built around the EDS-X sound engine and ships with over 1,700 sounds, including multi-layer stereo grand pianos, electric pianos from the SV-1, a digital drawbar organ with rotary speaker emulation, and wind, string, bass and guitar sounds. User memory of up to 256 MB of compressed PCM allows custom samples to be added; KORG, WAV, AIFF and SoundFont formats can be loaded, and WAV or AIFF can be exported.

Accompaniment comes from more than 370 styles, each with four variations and matching Fill In and Break patterns, plus four Pads for riffs, percussion and effects. A built-in Standard MIDI File to Style converter turns MIDI files into styles and creates a chord sequence. KAOSS FX adds real-time morphing and effects, and 148 effect types cover reverbs, delays, amp and cabinet simulations.

A dynamic microphone and a guitar can be connected for vocal and guitar processing. The player handles MP3+G with lyrics and graphics on the display or an external monitor, and can record a performance as MP3. The SongBook database stores settings and set lists. MIDI works over USB DEVICE, USB HOST and MIDI ports.
