The CINEMA 30 is a Class A/B AV receiver with 11 powered channels, a discrete power amplifier and a toroidal power supply transformer. Its amplifier section uses a separate HDAM-SA2 module and a copper-plated chassis. It processes up to 13.4 channels and decodes Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, DTS:X Pro and Auro-3D. IMAX Enhanced is supported.
On the video side it has seven HDMI inputs and three outputs, with 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz support, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, VRR, ALLM and eARC. Room correction is by Audyssey MultEQ XT32, with Dirac Live support available as an upgrade. A phono (MM) input, optical and coaxial digital inputs, a front USB-A port and an FM tuner with RDS cover other sources.
HEOS provides multiroom streaming over Ethernet or Wi-Fi, together with AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, TuneIn and several streaming services, and Roon compatibility. Two zones are available, and control options include IP, RS-232, web and app control, plus Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomePod voice control. It comes in black or silver-gold.
