MasterTracker

The MasterTracker is a dual-magnet moving-magnet stereo cartridge. Its V-Twin generator places two low-mass magnets in a V arrangement parallel to the record grooves, a layout modelled on the cutting head used to make lacquers. It uses the lightest magnets in the maker's Tracker Series.

The body is machined from billet aluminum and is damped to control resonances. The stylus is a Micro-Line diamond shaped like a lathe cutting head, mounted on a tapered aluminum cantilever. The coils use Ohno continuous cast copper wire, and the nominal output is 3 mV.

The cartridge has a 47 kOhm load impedance and 100 pF capacitance, and it tracks at 1.8–2.2 g. It weighs 9.7 g. A manual and a cartridge brochure are available as downloads from the product page.
