The CI 16-60 DSP is a sixteen-channel amplifier in a compact rack-mount chassis, intended for installations that drive many zones from one unit. It uses a HybridDigital amplifier design, which is described as efficient and low in heat and energy use. Output is 60 W per channel into 8 ohms and 65 W into 4 ohms with all channels driven, and channel pairs can be bridged for higher output, rated at 140 W into 8 ohms.
The amplifier takes line-level inputs and has a trigger input (3 to 30 Vdc) plus control options for automation systems. It senses an analog input signal at a threshold of about 3 mVrms and draws 0.5 W in standby. It is built for continuous operation in multi-zone projects.
For system integration, driver integrations are available for Control4, Crestron and RTI, and IP control codes, a data sheet, a manual, a quick setup guide and firmware (v2.27) are offered as downloads. The chassis measures 483 x 100 x 435 mm and weighs 10.3 kg.
