The E1.2 is a two-speed belt-drive turntable with electronic speed change between 33 and 45 rpm. It uses a 730 g damped, die-cast aluminium platter that is reworked and precision-balanced, a glass-fibre-reinforced ABS sub platter, and a stainless steel axle running in a bronze bushing. The chassis is finished in foil, and an acrylic dust cover is included.
The tonearm is CNC-machined aluminium with a heavy-mass gimbal design and a zero-play pinpoint bearing. It has an oversized counterweight placed close to the moving parts. The arm and the Pick it MM E cartridge are adjusted by the maker before shipping, so no tools or setup are needed. The cartridge is a low-mass moving magnet type with a miniature neodymium generator magnet, a conical diamond tip and a highly damped ABS body. Damping feet decouple the turntable from its stand.
Three versions exist. The standard model has a conventional output. The E1.2 Phono adds a switchable phono preamplifier so it can connect to any Line or CD input. The E1.2 BT adds a Bluetooth 5.4 transmitter with aptX HD support for wireless playback to speakers, headphones or amplifiers. A satin-painted E1.2 BT Colour version with a heavier MDF chassis is also listed.
