The io is a small integrated amplifier announced in March 2020. It uses the same power amplifier and phono stage as the larger Brio. The class A/B output stage is built with Sanken output transistors, an Alps volume potentiometer and a linear power supply, giving 30 W RMS per channel into 8 ohms.
Sources are one moving magnet phono input and two line level inputs. A headphone output on the front panel is fed from the power amplifier stage through relays, so the signal is not degraded when headphones are plugged in or the amplifier is muted. A redesigned mini remote handset is supplied with 2 x AAA alkaline batteries.
The chassis measures 180 x 290 x 68 mm and weighs 2.9 kg, so it fits into compact systems. It is built for 230/115 V mains operation, with fuse ratings that depend on the supply voltage.
