The CUBE Street EX is a portable stereo amp with two 8-inch woofers, two 2-inch tweeters and a rated output of 50 W (25 W + 25 W). An output power switch offers Max (50 W), Normal (25 W) and Eco (10 W) modes, which trade volume for runtime on eight AA batteries. The amp can also run from the supplied AC adaptor.
It has an onboard mixer with four channels: Mic/Instrument and Mic/Guitar on XLR/TRS combo jacks, a stereo Line In on 1/4-inch jacks and an Audio In on a stereo mini jack. A rear Aux In takes one extra device. The two mic channels each have a three-band EQ and reverb. The Mic/Guitar channel adds COSM Clean, Crunch and Lead tones, an Acoustic Simulator, an acoustic guitar preamp, chorus/delay and a built-in tuner.
The Audio In jack supports i-CUBE LINK, so an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can be connected with the supplied cable to play backing tracks and record through the free CUBE JAM app. Stereo Link/Line Out jacks allow a second unit to be linked or the amp to feed an external sound system. The angled back lets it serve as a floor monitor, and a mounting hole fits the optional ST-A95 stand.
