HP704
The HP704 is an 88-key digital piano in a furniture-style cabinet with a wood-and-plastic hybrid keyboard and SuperNATURAL piano modeling. It suits home players and students who want an upright-style instrument with built-in lessons, speakers and app support.

The HP704 uses SuperNATURAL Piano Modeling for its piano sound, with unlimited polyphony when playing Piano-category tones and 384 voices for other sounds. The PHA-50 keyboard combines wood and plastic, includes escapement, and has an ebony/ivory feel. A progressive damper pedal detects continuous movement, and the soft pedal can also detect continuous movement.
Sound comes from an Acoustic Projection speaker system: two coaxial near-field speakers and two spatial speakers, with 25 W x 2 and 5 W x 2 of rated output. Headphone use is supported by a 3D Ambience effect. Piano Designer adjusts elements such as lid position, resonances, noises and single-note tuning, and temperament can be selected from 10 types.
The piano has a large internal song library, a metronome, dual, split and TwinPiano modes, and a 3-part MIDI recorder. It can play and record audio files via USB flash memory. It connects through Bluetooth audio and MIDI, USB to computer and memory ports, stereo line inputs and outputs, and two headphone jacks. Roland's Piano Every Day and Piano Designer apps are compatible.
