The UA-4FX2 is a bus-powered 2-in/2-out USB audio interface designed for webcasting, game chat, podcasting and live musical streams. It combines an XLR microphone input with phantom power, a high-impedance 1/4-inch MIC/GUITAR input, a stereo line input and a headset jack, with dedicated knobs for mic/guitar, line and output levels.
Built-in processing includes vocal effects (EQ, reverb, pitch and formant shifting), guitar amp simulation, automatic level control and a mastering function. A loopback button mixes the incoming voice or instrument with computer audio for streaming, and an ON AIR button with a large indicator light mutes the broadcast quickly. Level indicators show signal status. The unit can also be used on its own as a stereo mixer.
It connects to a computer through a Micro USB type B port using Hi-Speed USB and takes its power from the computer. Line output is on RCA jacks, and the device measures 146 x 110 x 42 mm and weighs 240 g. Drivers are listed for Windows 10 and several macOS versions.
