UR-RT2

The UR-RT2 is a desktop USB 2.0 audio interface in a full-metal, half-rack-width housing. It records and plays back at up to 24-bit/192 kHz and offers four inputs and two outputs, including two combo inputs with D-PRE microphone preamps, switchable +48 V phantom power, and one Hi-Z input. Switchable Rupert Neve Designs transformers on the front inputs let the user change the character of the recorded signal.

An onboard SSP 2 DSP provides latency-free monitoring with effects, so processing can be heard while recording in any DAW. Available effects include REV-X reverb, the Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip and Guitar Amp Classics amp models (Clean, Crunch, Drive and Lead). The effects are controlled through the dspMixFx mixing application, and VST 3 and AU versions of the DSP plug-ins are included. True Integrated Monitoring with effects is supported in Cubase.

The interface connects to a computer over USB 2.0 and also provides MIDI I/O, a headphone output and balanced TRS line outputs. It works with ASIO and Core Audio software on Windows and macOS, and with iPhone and iPad through the included Cubasis LE. Cubase AI is also bundled. The product is listed as discontinued.
