The B1on is a floor-format effects processor built for bass. It holds 100 effects and amp models, including distortion, compression, modulation, delay and reverb, and up to five can be chained at the same time in any order. Patches are stored in 100 memory locations arranged as 10 banks of 10.
Patch handling includes a Swap function for reorganising memories, Auto Save for all patch parameters, and Pre Select, which lets a patch be chosen silently while the current one keeps sounding. A chromatic tuner covers all standard bass tunings. The looper records up to 30 seconds of CD-quality audio with seamless start and end points and works with 68 built-in rhythm patterns.
The unit has a mono 1/4" input for active or passive instruments, a 1/8" auxiliary input for a personal music player, and a stereo 1/4" output that serves an amp or headphones. It runs on four AA batteries or an optional AC adapter, and the USB port provides bus power and firmware updates. A backlit LCD with contrast control helps in low light.
