The SX70 is a centre-channel loudspeaker for home cinema systems. Its job is to reproduce spoken dialogue clearly and to tie the left, right and centre speakers of the front soundstage together. It is part of the SX speaker family, and a reviewer notes it as a match for SX50 left and right speakers.
The driver set is two 100mm (4 inch) woofers flanking a 25mm (1 inch) silk dome tweeter. Frequency response is stated as 65Hz to 20kHz, sensitivity as 85dB and nominal impedance as 8 ohms. The recommended amplifier power range is 10 to 100 watts.
The cabinet measures 138 x 360 x 246mm, which keeps it low enough to sit near a screen, and it weighs 4.0kg. It is finished in matte black. It is a passive speaker connected to an external amplifier or AV receiver. The product is listed as archived on the maker's range.
