Black System II is a ready-built Eurorack system that combines a selection of Erica Synths Black Series modules in one case. The module line-up covers oscillators, a modulator, a mixer, two filters, a quad VCA, envelope and LFO sources, a crossfader, a stereo delay and a joystick controller, so a complete voice can be patched without adding other modules.
The system can be driven from a keyboard or a MIDI sequencer through its MIDI-CV module, or run on its own with internal modulation and creative patching. The maker describes the sound range as extending from synth leads and bass lines to cosmic textures and stereo drones.
The modules are housed in the Erica Synths 2x84HP skiff case, which has a universal power supply included. 25 patch cables are supplied with the system. The maker states a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing faults. The listing currently shows the system as out of stock.
