DX-C390

The DX-C390 is a CD player with a carousel changer that holds six discs. Discs can be swapped while another is playing, so playback does not have to stop. It offers six repeat modes, shuffle play and a 40-track program memory, and tracks can be selected directly from the remote.

For audio it uses a multi-bit D/A converter with a 352.8 kHz digital filter at 128x oversampling and an AccuPulse quartz system. Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry (VLSC) is used to smooth the audio signal, and a shielded Direct Digital Path cable is used to keep circuit noise away from the signal. The chassis has a brushed aluminum front panel.

It connects through a fixed analog output plus one optical and one coaxial digital output. An RI connection allows remote control integration with compatible components.
