The Mixage IE MK2 combines a classic two-channel mixer with two decks on one bus-powered unit. Each deck has a touch-sensitive jog wheel with scratch/pitch-bend and fast-search modes, a transport section (play, cue, cup, sync), a 14-bit pitch fader, pitch bend buttons, and encoders and buttons for loops and effects. A shift button doubles the control functions, and a shift-lock switch keeps shift active in toggle or hold mode.
The mixer has a 3-band EQ, gain knob and LED level meter per channel, a crossfader, cue mix, master and headphone volume, and a large Trax encoder with load buttons for browsing the library. Dedicated knobs handle filter and pan. A DJ Team mode changes the MIDI channel so two Mixage units can share one computer for four-deck control in Traktor Pro.
The built-in 16 bit/48 kHz audio interface provides a stereo RCA master output, a 1/4" headphone output for direct monitoring, and a front 1/4" microphone input with volume control. ASIO and Core Audio drivers keep latency low. The unit connects by USB, draws its power from the bus, and ships with Traktor LE 2. It can also control other MIDI-capable software. The model is discontinued.
