The MSP 303 converts a single SDI signal to a single HDMI output in a mini-sized housing. It accepts 3G, HD and SD SDI and works with all SMPTE signals. Audio embedded in the SDI stream is carried through to the HDMI output.
SDI input timings range from 480i@60 and 576i through 720p and 1080i up to 1080p at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60 Hz. The HDMI output provides 720×480@60, 720×576@60, 1280×720@60 and 1920×1080 at the same set of frame rates from 23.98 to 60 Hz.
The unit belongs to the MSP series of micro converters. An optional pair of mounting ears allows it to be fitted to the MSP rack. A specification document (version 1.1, dated 2023-07-11) is available for download.
