The EW 100 G4-945-S-1G8 is an all-in-one wireless vocal set. It combines an aluminum SKM 100 G4-S handheld transmitter, fitted with an MMD 945-1 dynamic supercardioid capsule and an integrated mute switch, and an EM 100 G4 half-rack true diversity receiver in a full-metal housing. The receiver has an LCD display for control of its settings.
The system tunes across up to 42 MHz of bandwidth with 1680 selectable frequencies in a stable UHF range, with up to 20 compatible channels. A linking function speeds up frequency allocation for up to 12 receivers. Transmitter and receiver are synchronised wirelessly by infrared. Transmission range is up to 100 m (300 ft), and RF output power reaches up to 30 mW depending on country regulations. The 1G8 range covers 1785 to 1800 MHz.
The receiver provides an unbalanced 6.3 mm jack output. The set includes a rack kit, an RJ10 linking cable and a mic clip, so the receiver can be mounted in a rack and linked with further EM 100 G4 units.
