TimeLine MX combines 11 delay engines with a reverb engine, including newly added Oil Can, Spectral, Drum, MultiTap and Reverb voices alongside updated versions of the classic TimeLine machines. Two engines can run at once in Series, Parallel or Split routing, each with its own pan control, and Swell and Duck are available on every engine. A tri-core 800 MHz ARM processor handles the processing, and the dry path stays analog.
A stereo looper with up to five minutes of recording offers a multi mode and a 1 Button mode, and it can be placed before or after the delay effects. The pedal stores 300 presets, uses an OLED display, and has a dedicated Tap footswitch. Footswitches A and B can be set to control each engine of a Dual preset separately.
All jacks are TRS stereo, giving selectable configurations including mono or stereo effects loop, wet/dry and wet/dry/wet. MIDI works over USB-C, TRS and DIN connections, and an EXP jack takes an expression pedal or Strymon MultiSwitch accessories. Compatibility with the Nixie 2 editor app is listed as upcoming.
