Perform-VG

Perform-VG clamps to a mic stand and processes a singer's voice and an acoustic guitar together. It is operated with a single footswitch. A guitar plugged into it is used to detect the chords being played, and the unit sets the key for its vocal harmonies automatically. Harmonies follow the song as it changes and stop when the singing stops, so no tap tempo or MIDI foot controller is needed.

The Adaptive Tone feature applies EQ, compression, de-essing and gating to the voice in real time. A separate acoustic guitar voicing engine adds body resonance, anti-feedback and light compression to shape a piezo pickup signal. Reverb, doubler, megaphone and HardTune effects are each one button away.

The unit has an XLR vocal output, a 1/4-inch guitar output, a USB connection for streaming and home recording, and an aux input for backing tracks. It is aimed at acoustic singer-songwriters, worship leaders and duo acts who want a light rig that sets up in under a minute and needs no adjustment from the sound engineer during a show.
